Testing and quality
Zeaxan Testing and Quality, Badge by Badge
The Zeaxan side label shows "Third Party Tested" and "GMP Certified" badges, but it names no lab, no certifier and no report. No certificate of analysis is published. The seller gave us lot and CoA reference codes, which are not lab results. We treat every quality badge as the seller's claim until a report is shared.

The short version
What does the Third Party Tested badge on Zeaxan prove?
On its own, the badge proves very little. It tells you the seller says an outside lab checked the product, but the label does not say which lab, what was tested, or when.
The same side label shows a GMP Certified badge and a U.S. flag. Again, no certifier and no audit report are named. Could a buyer check any of these badges today? No.
That does not mean the product is poorly made. It means the proof is not public, so we call these badges the seller's claims, including on the typed Supplement Facts.
Claim by claim
Which quality claims appear on Zeaxan, and which can be verified?
None of them can be verified yet. The table lists every quality claim we found, where it appears, and what is missing.
| Claim | Where it appears | What is published | Our status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Third Party Tested | Side label badge | No lab, test date or report | Seller's claim |
| GMP Certified | Side label badge | No certifier or audit report | Seller's claim |
| Non GMO, Gluten Free | Brand seals panel | No certificate | Seller's claim |
| 100% Natural | Brand seals panel | No certificate; "natural" is not a safety test | Seller's claim |
| Made in the USA | Brand seals panel | Another brand seal says "foreign and domestic ingredients" | Unclear |
| Allergen-Free, All Natural | eBay listing only | Not printed on the bottle label | Listing claim |
| Lot and CoA codes | Given to us by the seller | Reference codes; no certificate published | Not lab proof |
The listing claims come from the eBay item specifics (eBay listing). The bottle label itself makes neither of them, which is one more reason we follow the label first.
Badges, explained
What does GMP Certified mean on a supplement label?
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice. A GMP badge with no named certifier tells you the seller's intent, not the result of an audit.
A GMP mark usually points to an audit of the place where a product is made. On Zeaxan, the badge names no auditor and no facility, and the label only says the product is "Distributed by" Titan Labs LLC of Coconut Creek, Florida.
Some brands also use a "registered facility" roundel. Registering a facility with the FDA does not mean the FDA approved that facility or the product made there (FDA, 2026).
What the seals panel adds
The brand's "Supplement Your Health" panel shows four more seals. We have no certificate for any of them, and one brand seal mentions foreign and domestic ingredients, which sits awkwardly next to "Made in the USA".

A brand badge. The label also prints a GMP Certified mark, but names no certifier, and no audit report is published.

A brand badge. Registering a facility with FDA is not FDA approval, and FDA does not approve supplements.

A brand badge saying ingredients come from the U.S. and abroad. The label says "Distributed by" Titan Labs LLC in Florida.

A brand graphic, not a policy. What applies is the eBay listing's 30-day returns and the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Who checks supplements
Does the FDA test Zeaxan before it is sold?
No. The FDA does not have the authority to approve dietary supplements before they reach shelves, and the company selling a supplement is responsible for its safety (FDA, supplements). That is true for Zeaxan and for every other eye supplement.
The NIH adds a warning worth keeping in mind: what is on a supplement label may not be what is in the product (NCCIH, 2019). Outside testing is the usual way a brand shows the two match. That is why a named lab and a dated report matter more than a badge.
Zeaxan lists a 600 mg proprietary blend with no single amounts, which the label rules allow (21 CFR 101.36). Even if a lab report were shared, a buyer would have no printed lutein or zeaxanthin amount to compare it with.
Reference codes
What are the lot and CoA numbers for Zeaxan?
The seller gave us lot reference ZEA-26/ZE-5709 and certificate of analysis (CoA) reference ZEA-5709-26-ZE. These are labels for paperwork, not the paperwork itself, and no certificate has been published.
A lot code helps the seller trace one production run if a bottle ever seems wrong. Read how to check your batch for the steps.
| Lot reference | ZEA-26/ZE-5709: a production-run label given by the seller |
|---|---|
| CoA reference | ZEA-5709-26-ZE: a document number; the certificate is not public |
| Lab named | None |
| Test date | None given |

How can you check the quality of your own Zeaxan bottle?
Start with the seal and the label. You cannot test a capsule at home, but you can spot a bottle that does not match.
- 01
Check the safety seal
The label says not to use the bottle if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Look before you open it, not after.
- 02
Match the label
Compare your bottle with our typed label: 600 mg blend, 11 ingredients, 2 capsules per serving, Titan Labs LLC as distributor.
- 03
Write down the lot
Note any lot code you find on the bottle and the date you opened it. You will need both if you ever report a problem.
- 04
Ask for proof
Ask the seller for a lab report that names the lab and your batch. A badge alone does not tell you what was tested.
What would change our view
What would make Zeaxan's quality badges checkable?
A short, public lab report would do it. Here is what we would need to see before we stopped calling the badges the seller's claims:
- The name of the testing lab, so anyone can look it up
- The lot number the report covers, matching the bottle
- The test date and what was measured
- The name of the GMP certifier and the facility it audited
- Certificates for the Non GMO and Gluten Free seals
If the seller shares these, we will publish them and update this page. Health claims are a separate matter: the FTC says those need solid human trials (FTC, 2022), and no trial has tested Zeaxan.
If something looks wrong
What should you do if a Zeaxan bottle looks damaged or different?
Do not take it. The label says not to use the bottle if the safety seal is damaged or missing, and the same goes for capsules that look or smell unusual.
Keep the bottle, the box and your order email. Call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID. For an eBay order, the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers items that arrive broken, wrong or not as described, and you can open a request up to 30 days after delivery (eBay guarantee).
Our website email, [email protected], is for page errors and press. It cannot see orders, but we do want to hear about any label that does not match ours.
FAQ
Questions about Zeaxan testing and quality
Who tests Zeaxan for quality?
No testing lab is named anywhere. The side label shows a Third Party Tested badge, but it does not say which lab did the work, what it measured or when. Until a report is published, treat the badge as the seller's claim rather than proof.
Is there a certificate of analysis for Zeaxan?
Not a public one. The seller gave us a CoA reference number, ZEA-5709-26-ZE, but the certificate itself has not been shared or published. A reference number points to a document; it does not show the results inside it.
What does GMP Certified mean on the Zeaxan bottle?
It means the seller says the product follows Good Manufacturing Practice. The badge names no certifier and no audited facility, and no audit report is published, so a buyer cannot confirm it. The label lists Titan Labs LLC in Florida as distributor.
Is Zeaxan really made in the USA?
We cannot confirm it. A brand seal says "Made in the USA", while another brand seal says "foreign and domestic ingredients". The bottle label only says the product is distributed by Titan Labs LLC of Coconut Creek, Florida, and it does not state where it was made.
Is Zeaxan gluten free and non-GMO?
The brand's seals panel says so, but no certificate is published for either claim. The bottle label lists rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica dioxide as inactive ingredients. If you must avoid gluten for a medical reason, ask the seller for written proof first.
Does an FDA registered facility mean Zeaxan is approved?
No. Registering a facility with the FDA is not FDA approval of the facility or its products (FDA, 2026). The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, and Zeaxan's label carries the standard statement saying its claims were not evaluated.
What should I do if my Zeaxan safety seal is broken?
Do not use that bottle. If the safety seal is damaged or missing, the label says not to use it. Keep the bottle and packaging, then call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 or open a not-as-described request on eBay.
