Supplement Facts
Serving Size: 2 Capsules · Servings Per Container: 30
One serving is two capsules. The bottle holds 60, so it lasts 30 days.
The total for all 11 ingredients together. No single amount is given, and no Daily Value is set.
Listed first. Blends list ingredients by weight, which suggests salt is the largest single ingredient.
No eye research. The label does not say which type of cinnamon.
Alpha-GPC, a choline compound usually sold for memory. One large study linked it to stroke risk; not proof.
A memory herb. The 20% describes how the extract is standardized, not its share of the capsule.
The AREDS2 eye formula used 10 mg a day. Here the amount is not published; 5% is the extract's strength.
Leaf, not berry. Rigorous trials did not find bilberry improves night vision.
Adults need 1.3-1.7 mg a day. The amount here is not published.
Ginkgo (the label spells it Gingko). It may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners.
Adults need 2.4 mcg a day. The 1% describes a diluted ingredient, not 1% of the capsule.
The product's namesake, listed 10th of 11. AREDS2 used 2 mg; this amount is not published.
Listed last. Green tea extract pills are a rare cause of liver injury.
Fillers and flow agents used in most capsules.
Typed from the bottle label. ** Daily Value not established. Blend order rule (21 CFR 101.36).

The numbers
How many capsules are in a Zeaxan serving?
Two. The label sets one serving at 2 capsules, with 30 servings in each 60-capsule bottle, so one bottle lasts 30 days.

The rule behind it
What does "proprietary blend" mean on a supplement label?
It means the maker groups several ingredients under one total weight. Federal rules require the blend's total and a list of its ingredients from most to least by weight, but not the amount of each one (21 CFR 101.36).
For Zeaxan, that one total is 600 mg. Reading the order, Himalayan pink salt leads the list, which suggests it outweighs every other single ingredient. Lutein sits 5th and zeaxanthin 10th, so their share is limited by everything listed above them.
A blend is legal. It just leaves you unable to check a dose against research, which is why we spell out the proprietary blend rules in a separate article.
Doing the math
How much lutein could a Zeaxan serving hold?
At most about 6 mg of lutein and 3 mg of zeaxanthin, by our best-case arithmetic, and likely much less.
Start with 600 mg
The label's only number for the blend. Every ingredient shares it.
Use the order
The 5th ingredient cannot outweigh the four above it, so lutein extract is at most 600 / 5 = 120 mg.
Apply the 5%
An extract labeled 5% is usually 5% lutein. 5% of 120 mg is 6 mg at the very most.
Repeat for zeaxanthin
10th place means at most 60 mg of extract. At 5%, that is about 3 mg at most.
The ceiling assumes the top five ingredients weigh exactly the same, which is unlikely when salt leads. The percentages on the label describe extract strength; they are not a share of the capsule. AREDS2 used 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin (NEI, AREDS2), so even the ceiling cannot be matched with confidence.

What do the Zeaxan directions and caution say?
Directions, caution, storage and badges, photographed and typed out in full. The last row shows where the eBay listing disagrees.

One conflict
Does the Zeaxan label say to take it with food?
No. The side label says "take 2 capsules daily between meals." The brand's how-to-take panel and the eBay listing's item specifics say "after meal" instead (eBay listing).
We follow the label, because it is the text printed on the product you swallow. If a meal helps your stomach, ask your pharmacist whether that change matters for you. Read the how-to-use guide for timing ideas.
Gaps
What does the Zeaxan label not tell you?
- The amount of any of the 11 ingredients.
- Which lab did the testing behind the "Third Party Tested" badge.
- Who certified the "GMP Certified" badge.
- A phone number for the distributor.
The seller gave lot reference ZEA-26/ZE-5709 and CoA reference ZEA-5709-26-ZE, but no certificate of analysis is published. See testing and quality.
FAQ
Questions about the Zeaxan label
What does 5% lutein mean on a supplement label?
It usually means the lutein extract is 5% lutein by weight, not that lutein makes up 5% of the capsule. So 100 mg of that extract would carry about 5 mg of lutein. Zeaxan does not print how much of the extract it uses.
Why does the Zeaxan label say Daily Value not established?
Because no Daily Value exists for a blend or for most of its ingredients. The two stars next to the 600 mg total point to that note. It does not mean the dose is high or low, only that no official daily target applies.
What are the inactive ingredients in Zeaxan?
Rice flour, magnesium stearate and silica dioxide. They are fillers and flow agents found in most capsules, and they sit outside the 600 mg blend. The label lists no other inactive ingredients and makes no allergen statement.
Who is the distributor on the Zeaxan bottle?
Titan Labs LLC, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073. The label says "Distributed by", which does not name the factory, and no phone number is printed. For order help, call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 instead.
Is it legal for Zeaxan to hide ingredient amounts?
Yes. Federal rules let a proprietary blend show only its total weight and its ingredients in order of weight. Zeaxan follows that rule. It is legal, but it means nobody outside the maker can compare its lutein or zeaxanthin with the doses used in research.
How should I store Zeaxan capsules?
In a cool, dry place, with the cap closed, out of the reach of children. The label also says to use each bottle within 60 days of opening, and not to use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
What do the badges on the Zeaxan bottle mean?
The side label shows Third Party Tested, a U.S. flag and GMP Certified badges. No lab, certifier or report is named for any of them, so treat them as the brand's own claims until it publishes proof.
